The body is designed to heal itself if it has what it needs.

Inside Out or Outside In?

Inside out or Outside in?

Did you know our bodies have a program for maintaining health and will always return to health if given what they need?

We are a bio-regulatory system.  Bio, meaning body, and regulatory, meaning to adjust in order to maintain a balance, means that our bodies are designed to do just that… self-regulate. This is also known as the ability to heal from the inside out.

When we look at outside in healing, we are looking at others to fix us!  Today’s medicine gives us a pill to take care of what ails us.  Putting a band aid on an issue that, when taken away, there has been no healing. Long forgotten is the fact that our bodies have been designed to heal themselves if you give them what they need.

We have been programmed to think that a pill will handle the symptoms we are having, and we forget the fact that the power to heal comes from within!

If you knew that your body can heal itself because of its innate capacity to do so, why would you want an outside in approach care?

In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, the common belief was to give the body what it needed to restore balance so that the body’s own physiology would return the body back to health….exactly what it was designed to do.

It seems like today we are looking for other ways to fix ourselves. Why is that? Have we forgotten or do we not know that if you give the body what it needs, it will take care of itself?  We look for outside in ways to fix ourselves------but why not realize that the ability to heal comes from within?

Our bodies are a flow system. They are designed to take in nutrients and let go of wastes and toxins. Symptoms, or dis-ease, are a result of a blockage in the flow system somewhere.  So doesn’t it make sense to think about how we can restore the flow system of our body so it can do what it is meant to do? Restore health from the Inside out.

When we take a supplement or pill to handle a symptom, we never address the true cause behind why the symptoms are there. Isn’t that outside in?

Let’s talk more about an inside out approach to care. If you think about restoring the beautiful flow system of your body and you understand that your body has the amazing capacity to do what it has been designed to do-----self regulate and restore health----this is inside out healing!

However sick or damaged the body might be or become, it always retains the memory of its wellness.  And, given what it needs, will always endeavor to return to a state of health.

In my experience both personally and professionally, I recognize how many people want to be fixed. Health care providers can do that all day long, but it’s exhausting for both sides. There’s no true healing when someone is being fixed. In my practice, I decided to empower clients to heal themselves. It’s sustainable and rewarding for everyone when healing is inside out versus outside in.

So, let me ask you….do you want outside in?  OR, do you want to take back the power of your body’s innate ability to heal from the inside out? It’s time to remember that the power to heal lies within.  We are not here to fix you.  We are here to facilitate the healing process that your body already knows how to do.  It’s there in all of us!

When we awaken to realize that the power to heal is within, that is inside out.   Which do you want?

I was very lethargic and would experience nausea during meals. I suffered from low moods, and my immune system was very weak. I was overwhelmed and easily stressed. I was sleeping poorly with anxious thoughts at night. I had poor eyesight with dry, itchy eyes. My ankle was constantly sore. Since seeing Lori, I have energy! Since beginning, I have no more nausea while eating. My low mood and anxious thoughts are almost nil and easy to cope with now. My eyesight has DRASTICALLY improved. No more dry eye or redness. Much better sleeping patterns. My ankle is not sore at all!
